Real RB work

From years of buildup to ready for game day.

The photographs here document our first cleaning at Dublin Fighting Irish Stadium. The stadium had not been cleaned in several years and needed substantial attention. We cleaned the home-side and visitor-side bleachers, along with the VIP booster seating area with its folding chairs. That first project took a couple of days, and we’ve returned several times since.

The challenge and our approach

A stadium deadline calls for a practical plan.

Working through years of buildup

The first visit was the most demanding. Getting the equipment and cleaning process established, then working through the concrete and bleacher areas, took careful coordination. Our crew used surface cleaning and pressure washing to tackle the accumulated buildup while working within limits on chemical use.

Choosing the approach for the surface

We noticed existing marks from a turbo nozzle used before our work. That was a reason to avoid that approach, not to repeat it. The job required paying attention to the condition of the surfaces and adapting the cleaning method. Cleaning existing buildup and repairing pre-existing surface damage are different tasks.

Finishing ahead of game day

We completed the first cleanup in a couple of days, ahead of the game-day deadline. Scheduling matters every time we return: some visits have allowed a week or two before a game, while one later visit had about four days of lead time. Your event date is an important part of planning the job.

The result was a completed cleanup, a happy client, and several return visits since that first project. If you manage a stadium or another event property, tell us which seating and concrete areas need cleaning and when the property must be ready. We’ll review the scope and timing before committing to the work. Request a commercial estimate →
