Real RB work
At the Georgia Army National Guard Readiness Center in Macon, our crew surface-cleaned the concrete, cleaned the brick, and cleaned the precast at both the bottom and top of the building. We also cleaned the Alucobond panels and sprayed down the windows. The job took two days, with much of the challenge coming from positioning a lift and getting situated to reach difficult areas.
The scope and access challenge
The scope included surface cleaning the concrete and cleaning the building’s brick and upper and lower precast. These different surfaces were all part of the same project—not just a concrete-cleaning visit.
Alucobond was one of the more challenging materials on this job. Our crew cleaned those panels and sprayed down the windows as part of the exterior work. Window rinsing here should not be confused with a separate detailed, streak-free window-cleaning service.
Reaching the work areas required a lift. Getting it positioned and the crew situated to clean difficult spots was the main challenge and a key reason the project took two days. There was no specific event deadline; the focus was completing the agreed scope.
